When Paperlike set out to organise a team offsite near Barcelona, their goal was clear: create space for people to step away from their routines, spend quality time together, and align across the business.
Set in the peaceful surroundings of Mas Salagros, outside Barcelona, the offsite offered the perfect balance between productive working sessions and time to unwind. Surrounded by nature, the venue provided a calm environment where the team could focus on discussions, workshops, and planning sessions without the usual distractions of the office.
A key part of the programme was a guided forest bathing experience. Rather than being another activity packed into the schedule, it gave everyone the chance to slow down, disconnect from screens, and enjoy the natural surroundings together. It quickly became one of the most talked about moments of the retreat.
Back in the meeting spaces, the team gathered for strategy sessions, collaborative workshops, and company updates. The relaxed setting encouraged open conversations and helped create a more engaging atmosphere than a traditional office environment.
To make the most of Barcelona's coastline, the group also enjoyed a private catamaran experience. Spending an afternoon on the water gave colleagues the opportunity to connect in a completely different setting, with plenty of laughter, conversation, and time to simply enjoy being together.
The days ended with shared meals, including a memorable team dinner where everyone could relax, celebrate achievements, and continue conversations away from the meeting room. These informal moments often proved just as valuable as the structured sessions themselves.
